Eng. Aime Muzole, WASAC inaugurates the newly constructed water taps at Rugarama Primary School
13th December 2017- Rwanda Patriotic Front-Inkotanyi (RPF-Inkotanyi) this month celebrates 30 years since its formation in 1987 with several activities and conference looking back in history and empowering the youth to take lead in ensuring a continuation in national transformation. The RPF-Inkotanyi ‘special cell’ at Water and Sanitation Corporations Ltd (WASAC Ltd) comprising of approximately six hundred and nine RPF members constructed water taps at Rugarama Primary School located in Nyamirambo Sector, Nyarugenge District.
The Headmaster of Rugarama expressed his gratitude on behalf of the school for the construction of the water taps. He stated that the water scarcity issue was financially-heavy on the school. He concluded his thanks by thanking the RPF-Inkotanyi for their continued work in developing Rwanda and inspiring others in the region.

WASAC Ltd a month ago, visited Rugarama Primary school in rewarding Yasiri Rukundo who tried to fix a broken pipe in his neighborhood in Kigarama sector, Kicukiro District. In the process of launching the Non-Revenue Water Awareness Campaign, the headmaster expressed their water issue at the school of approximately 1,200 pupils. It is on that day the RPF ‘Special Cell’ incorporated their celebrations of RPF-Inkotanyi 30 years by constructing the water taps to eliminate the water scarcity issue and educate the youth on the RPF-Inkotanyi journey the last 30 years and the development achieved through hard work and resilience. The water project took one million (1,000,000) Rwanda Francs to be completed.
