Branch Managers and Directors Sign 2018-2019 Performance Contracts

On 4th September 2018 at WASAC Ltd Headquarters between the CEO and Branch Managers was signed performance contracts indicating new targets to be achieved in a course of the fiscal year 2018-2019. Branch Managers were preceded by Directors of all departments.

In his remarks after the signing ceremony the CEO of WASAC ltd Eng. Aimé MUZOLA urged Branch Managers and Directors to multiply efforts and achieve the set targets on high possible score. He told them to use available resources and report obstacles for support.

Performance contracts are developed in line with the long term national programmes such as Vision 2020, National Strategy for Transformation (NST1), Sector Strategic Plans and other national priorities.

WASAC Ltd set a target of providing clean water to 335,306 new households in rural areas and 20,157 new households in urban areas in a bid to meet 2024 target of universal access to clean water. Water production increased from 182,120 m3 per day in 2016/2017 to 237,120m3 per day in 2017/2018, boosted by Nzove water treatment plant; in the year 2018/19 Water production capacity will reach 242,120 m3 per day.

Talking about target achievement, Gisele UMUHUMUZA the Deputy CEO said that WASAC needs to embrace excellency and work for a high score in the fiscal year 2018-2019. She stressed on WASAC Ltd projects where she insisted that the success will mainly be based on the impact of the project towards beneficiaries. The Deputy CEO urged Branch Managers to work closely with different partners especially on district level
